Horticulture Curricula
Piedmont Technical College's horticulture curricula blend science and art, covering plant science, soils, propagation, pest management, landscape design, landscape construction, and landscape maintenance. This prepares students for roles in nurseries, greenhouses, landscape companies, or turf management through hands-on lab work, greenhouse operations, and business management. The specialized training received in the horticulture program will prepare students to become licensed South Carolina Commercial Pesticide Applicators as well as South Carolina Certified Landscape Professionals, credentials that may provide the opportunity for greater earning potential in the workforce.
