Accounting, Certificate - ACC7
The certificate in Accounting is designed to provide students with a specialized body of knowledge in accounting. The courses are sequenced to advance from the basic principles through more advanced applications. The courses in the Accounting certificate apply toward the major in Business Administration, Accounting Concentration.

Program Notes
This program can be started any semester.
Every course in the Accounting Certificate is available online every semester. Some classes are available in the evenings, but it varies by course.
Notes About Individual Classes
Students may choose between MAT 120 and MAT 122 for this program.
ACC 101, 102, 201 and 202 must be taken in sequence.
ACC 240 is a capstone course, which should be taken during the student's final semester.
BAF 260 is only available online.
College policy states that computer coursework is valid for eight years.

Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Accounting Certificate is to provide a basic foundation of accounting knowledge for entry–level accounting related positions or to enhance skills of currently employed professionals.
