EGT - Engineering Design Tech (EDT)
This is an introductory course in engineering graphics science which includes beginning drawing techniques and development of skills to produce basic technical drawings.
Concurrent Prerequisite: RWR 100 and MAT 110 or appropriate placement test scores.

This course covers the operation of a computer aided drafting system. The course includes interaction with a CAD station to produce technical drawings.

This course includes a related series of problems and exercises utilizing the computer graphics station as a drafting tool. Students study the design concepts of form and function, then use state-of-the-art technology to translate conceptual designs into reproducible products.

This course covers the basic principles of CNC machine operation , fixturing required to clamp parts in the machine, and basic competencies in CNC programming.

This advanced drawing course covers industrial applications. It will consist of a design project including project development that may be accomplished in collaboration with an area manufacturing company.

This is an advanced drawing course for architectural applications. The student will be responsible for the complete project development, necessary calculations and graphic design drawings.

This course covers advanced concepts of CAD software and applications. This course will include advanced CAD principles such as 3D CAD techniques, including solid modeling, wire frame assemblies and working drawings.
