Tuition and Fees
To assist you in your financial planning, the following is provided to give estimated tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year. Because tuition and fees are based on the extent of financial support provided by the state and the county in which the student lives, exact fees may not be determined until July prior to the beginning of the new academic year. Piedmont Technical College is anticipating that fees will not exceed the maximum amount indicated; however, a reduction of state financial support may force tuition to exceed the projected maximum. In-county students are those students who live in one of the following counties: Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry or Saluda. Please note: The college’s Full-Time tuition rate is based on a 12 credit hour course load. Students taking more than 12 credit hours will be charged at the per credit hour tuition rate for each hour taken.

- Facility Fee: $25 Part Time, $50 Full Time
- Late Registration Fee: $50 (Non-refundable)
- Audit Courses: $55 per credit hour
- Credit By Examination: $60
- Safety and Security Fee: $5
